Leesburg Presbyterian Church welcomes our latest new members:
| | New Church Member Highlights | Below are a few more highlights of our new church members. Please welcome these new members when you see them and help them feel at home. | | | John and Connie Niccolls | John and Connie are not new to northern Virginia or Leesburg, but recently decided to join us at LPC. John is a construction project manager, and Connie is a school librarian at Stone Bridge High School. They enjoy traveling and hiking together, and were drawn to LPC after talking to Pastor Debbie. | | | The Potters | Steve and Audrey have four children: Jessica is 13 and attends Simpson Middle School. Carley, 11, Kyle, 9, and Jordan, 6, all attend Evergreen Mill Elementary. They have lived in Leesburg for 10 years. They used to attend Ashburn Presbyterian, but their children had friends at LPC; and after visiting, they decided to join us. Steve is a financial advisor. Jessica, Carley and Jordan all play soccer, while Kyle plays baseball. When there is time left in her busy schedule, Audrey enjoys gardening. | | | LaBahn family | David and Virginia have two children. Nicholas is 10 and is in the fifth grade at Sycolin Creek Elementary. Michael, 13, is in the eighth grade at Simpson Middle School. They have been in Leesburg for about a year and a half, having moved from Walnut Grove, CA, which is in Northern California. Dave's job brought them east. He was the Executive Director for the California District Attorney's Assoc., and is now the CEO and president of the American Prosecutor's Association. Virginia is a Registered Nurse and works part time at Reston Surgery Center. In Walnut Grove, they belonged to the community Presbyterian church, which was within walking distance. Since Walnut Grove is a small river community, most of their neighbors and friends belonged to the same church so it was always a fun atmosphere for the kids. They have attended several churches since moving east, and like LPC because it has some of the small town charm of their prior church.Nick is in soccer with his dad as coach, and Michael is in flag football and simultaneously playing in a travel basketball team. Virginia is on a lady's tennis team at Ida Lee. Michael and Dave are avid fishermen, while Nick and Virginia enjoy being out on the boat. They used to water ski, but as of yet, have not brought their ski boat from California. |
